Synopsis

Jessica possesses a sharp intelligence and a vibrant love for life. Sadly, this vitality is channeled into a destructive existence: she’s a heroin addict living in an abandoned building, dependent on a boyfriend who injects her with the drug, a path she seems determined to follow. Having spent her childhood longing for an absent, alcoholic father, Jessica has inherited his legacy of addiction, and now her own children face the heartbreaking possibility of losing their mother.
