Synopsis

Once a celebrated model and loving mother, Terry now drowns her days in vodka, seeking refuge from her mother’s barbs and her father's indifference. She dismisses her doctor’s grim prognosis—a death sentence within six months if she doesn’t cease her drinking. Leon, a young Russian-Jewish immigrant and former cello prodigy barely twenty-five years old, uses PCP to numb the persistent ache of disappointment and failure. Both Terry and Leon are offered a final hope: an intervention.
