Synopsis

In a quiet Hawaiian village, Penny-Lee possesses a laughter that’s readily shared and a genuine love of joy. Yet, despite a close family and the pride she takes in her four children, she battles an escalating dependence on alcohol, often retreating into solitude where she unleashes torrents of despair, shouting into the silence as she drinks beer after beer. Her family's final recourse is an intervention, their last hope for the woman who holds them all together.
