Synopsis

Mikeal and Sarah exist in a space much like Romeo and Juliet’s—a young man from humble circumstances and a girl of privilege finding solace within shared suffering. Sarah's family believes Mikeal has led her astray, transforming a casual flirtation with pills into a full-fledged heroin addiction. Now, both families are united in the conviction that an intervention represents their last chance.
