Synopsis

Cristine is a twenty-nine-year-old wife and mother who finds herself torn between devotion to her family and an undeniable need for beer. Though she loves them deeply, she can’t imagine life without it. Cristine consumes at least eighteen beers each day, beginning around seven in the morning; she slips away during work hours and continues drinking until she loses consciousness at night. Her husband fears for their son's well-being, and her mother is terrified that Cristine is destroying herself.
