It wasn’t terrible. The fact that it hasn't been dubbed is probably why there won’t be another season, and I suspect the increasing influence of progressive viewpoints on Japanese animation means we might not see more content like this anytime soon. Basically, this show is too focused on heterosexual relationships to get renewed. It’s disappointing because I believe if it’s humorous in its original language, it would also be very funny when translated. But Japan seems to struggle with the same kind of self-criticism that exists worldwide, measuring themselves against Western standards. There's this idea that "if it gets approval from Westerners, then it must be good." It’s really unfortunate. This was a genuinely amusing program, and it certainly had plenty of over-the-top content geared toward male viewers! But you should check it out and see what you think! Have fun watching! - Bob
