Synopsis

In the summer of 2010, the quiet community of a small Ohio town was shattered by the inexplicable disappearance of four people: Tina Herrmann, age thirty-one; Stephanie Sprang, forty-one; Sarah Maynard, thirteen; and Kody Maynard, eleven. The family home was discovered stained with blood, yet yielded scant evidence to explain their vanishing. A single, subtle detail offered a potential lead, but authorities must confront the individual it points to before the truth remains lost to time.
