Synopsis

A ruthless businessman of considerable wealth and a celebrated opera singer have traveled to Oxford to receive honorary degrees from the University Chancellor. The ceremony, however, is violently disrupted when a sniper opens fire upon the procession of dignitaries, forcing its immediate abandonment. The singer is gravely wounded, leaving the question of whether she was the intended target hanging ominously in the air.
