Synopsis

Detectives Morse and Lewis pursue a dangerous rapist who has broken free from incarceration. Their investigation leads them into a shadowy underworld, populated by individuals with unsettling affiliations. Some of these figures, however, present a carefully cultivated veneer of respectability.
