Synopsis

Inspector Morse examines the seemingly self-inflicted death of a fellow at Oxford University, a man ravaged by illness. He soon discovers a personal link between himself and the deceased’s family. As the investigation progresses, Lewis grows concerned that Morse’s dedication to the case is becoming compromised.
