Synopsis

A female cleric sparks an unexpected attraction in Morse when he’s tasked with examining the suspicious death of a woman deacon. At St Saviour's College, anticipation hangs thick as the institution prepares to appoint Oxford’s first female chaplain; the more traditional clerics are clearly agitated, yet Morse and Lewis find it difficult to credit such fervor with a violent outcome.
