Synopsis

Detective Sergeant John Bacchus and Inspector George Gently are confronted with the arrogance of those in power when they discover the body of a young woman, Ellen Mallam, in an overturned car owned by local aristocrats. The scene unfolds with an unsettling display of privilege and disregard for the lives of those less fortunate.
