Synopsis

Sir Andrew Pike summons the village's most notorious witch-finders to Little Happens, a modest hamlet, for the trial of an aged woman. Elizabeth Gadge stands accused of devilry, of engaging in lewd practices on numerous occasions. Should she be convicted, the sentence is fire. This trial promises to be the most stirring event in Little Happens since the unfortunate incident with the runaway cow.
