Synopsis

April called Paul, urgently requesting he see her at his office right away. On her way to school to submit a project—an architectural model for a World Trade Center memorial—she’d been struggling with sleeplessness. “Between my anxiety and my lymphoma,” she explained, "it simply never seems to be a good time.” She described her exhaustion as a pervasive poison coursing through her veins, a feeling so intense it brought on the desperate thought of ending it all.
