Synopsis

The aroma of grilled eel hung rich in the air as the two friends settled into their table at the upscale unagi restaurant. Their conversation drifted, momentarily, to a girl who sat alone, dining with an assuredness that belied her apparent youth. The observation, seemingly innocuous, subtly shifted the course of their evening, drawing them into a discussion that unexpectedly veered towards the subject of murder.
