Synopsis

At the counter of a pawn shop, Murr, Joe, Sal, and Q dispense a series of unfavorable transactions, punctuating their work with earnest, yet peculiar, apologies offered to strangers in the park, followed by pleas for affection. Tonight, the evening’s central figure recounts his life in song before an audience that seems to deeply regret its attendance.
