I’m attempting to complete watching the series **I'm Standing on a Million Lives** (_100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru_), and that statement is currently accurate. The show feels slow right now, at least in my experience. It seems reluctant to develop the main character’s personality; he does evolve, but the changes are gradual, as I've noted before. Also, his demeanor appears more mature than it should be. He approaches situations with a strategic mindset, which wouldn't necessarily be problematic if he were older. I wasn’t aware that he was supposed to be in ninth grade, meaning he’s possibly around 15 years old at most. His thought processes don’t quite align with that age group, and it’s a bit distracting. I will provide an update once I finish the series; I'm not expecting to write a glowing assessment anytime soon. lol Update Sept. 24, 2022 -- Ultimately, I lost interest. The problems I mentioned earlier simply didn't make it worthwhile to return and resume watching. It’s slow-paced, overly pragmatic, and the fanservice is underwhelming. The series might improve later on, but after making it through about half of it, I couldn’t generate enough excitement or motivation to keep going. I wish you luck if you decide to watch it; hopefully someone with more patience can offer a more detailed review.
