Synopsis

The Ricardos and Mertzes are bound for California, though, naturally, complications arise first. The most significant is Lucy’s mother, who unexpectedly appears with a desire to join them. Ricky objects strenuously, and when Fred and Ethel overhear his discontent regarding the prospect of too many travelers, they take offense. And once the tension from that disagreement subsides, there remains the matter of packing.
