Synopsis

Caligula’s capricious actions persisted; he appointed his horse to the Senate and transformed the imperial palace into a den of pleasure. A growing number within the Praetorian Guard began to suspect their ruler's madness, and fearing the potential ruin of Rome itself, they concluded that intervention was necessary.
