Synopsis

The legions of the Imperial Army stationed along the Rhine have been utterly destroyed, and Tiberius has been dispatched to exact vengeance for the loss, with Germanicus following in his wake. Livia has successfully undermined Postumus's standing, leading to his banishment. Augustus, though unwell, is carefully avoiding any appearance of foul play by consuming figs cultivated in his own garden.
