Synopsis

Though every effort was made to heal her, she succumbed to her injuries and died, but not before whispering the name she had reserved for the king: "Meruem," to Colt. A final, living child was discovered within her, and Morel pledged himself to its protection, stipulating that they would never again consume human life. As the other squad leaders departed to establish their own settlements, the king and his royal guard arrived in the neighboring nation of East Gorteau.
