Synopsis

Brian brings his investigation into humanity’s position within the Universe to a close, posing the question: what lies ahead for the ape that reached for space? His journey takes him to northern Spain, where he explores a cave once inhabited by our earliest ancestors. He then travels to the Arctic, seeking to understand what distinguishes us from other creatures. Finally, Brian journeys to Svalbard, the very top of the world, where he hopes to uncover the key to humanity’s enduring survival.
