Synopsis

On Jeju Island, sustenance is earned through labor. The inhabitants dedicate themselves to the lives of divers or stablehands, working for each day’s provision. Though hardship is inherent in this existence, the privilege of intimate communion with the natural world is invaluable. Those who tend the horses are perpetually struck by their grace; and remarkably, the animals appear to reciprocate the affection, finding a quiet joy in shared moments.
