I have to admit, I wasn’t anticipating liking this show very much, yet from the very beginning, it really captured my interest and kept me engaged. Typically, stories set in the Victorian period or historical dramas don’t do a lot for me, but this one is exceptionally crafted—the writing is strong, the costumes are great, the visuals are impressive, and the performances are outstanding. It also possesses an appealing quality that I found hard to resist. The feel of the series reminded me of Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's 11, only it’s taking place in the late 1800s and doesn’t involve a robbery plot. You should check it out; it’s entertaining!
