Synopsis

He returned to Interior Alaska to offer aid to a single mother whose homestead teetered on the edge of collapse. A fractured water line and the watchful presence of bears threatened her livelihood and her future. He had to act swiftly, to safeguard not only the woman's animals but also the promise of a life rebuilt.
