The arrival of Season 2 of _Homecoming_ on Amazon Video was welcome news, as I really liked the initial run. I wasn't even aware another season was planned. This new set of episodes begins shortly after the events of the first and moves forward quickly. The story introduces Alex, who finds herself in a rowboat on a lake, and the narrative unfolds from there. The link to Geist, the central organization from Season 1, is made clear early on, and we experience her confusion alongside her as she attempts to understand what’s happening. It's a show that deliberately keeps viewers guessing and requires active engagement to piece things together. Flashbacks are used, sometimes echoing events from the earlier season, to gradually reveal details, which all works very well. The writing is strong, and one aspect I especially appreciated was how it consistently subverted expectations. Just when you believe you understand what's going on, the show shifts the ground beneath your feet; something presented as true turns out to be false. It’s an effective approach that maintained my interest throughout. Similar to Season 1, this one features fewer than 10 episodes, each running approximately 30 minutes. If you enjoy stories full of twists and unexpected developments, now is a good opportunity to start watching.
