Synopsis

The quiet of the room was thick with unspoken grief. Jess, the sole representative from the hospital, stood amongst the mourners. Nic’s mother and a withdrawn Kelly were present, their faces etched with sorrow. After the service, Jess sought out Kelly, but the visit offered little solace. Returning home, she was met with a devastating truth: Kelly had taken her own life.
