Synopsis

The investigation by Tom Campbell-Gore neared its end. Meyer was cleared of wrongdoing, though the terms were too restrictive for his liking. He felt the hospital prioritized politics over patient care. Resolved to seek a different path, Meyer decided to leave Holby and pursue the development of artificial hearts in America. He extended an invitation to Adams to join him, and Adams accepted. With Meyer's departure now voluntary, Tom Campbell-Gore was able to assume his former position.
