Synopsis

In Novato, California, a young man grappling with obsessive-compulsive disorder accumulates refuse – snack wrappers, discarded bottles, and decaying food – within the confines of a two-bedroom townhouse he shares with his father, a man struggling with alcoholism. Elsewhere, in New Mexico, a blind woman’s accumulation is of a far more disturbing nature; her home is choked with over seventy-five cats, both living and deceased, alongside carpets and furniture saturated with feline waste and urine.
