Synopsis

The whole town seemed intent on watching the local teams face off. Everyone, that is, except for Steve, lost in a troubling dream about Becky and her former boyfriend. And Laura, who found herself utterly bored. And Paul, weighed down by his mother’s devastating news. The afternoon had scarcely reached its nadir when Steve uttered something that sounded disturbingly like a racist remark.
