Synopsis

An aging gangster, consumed by a desire to orchestrate the demise of MacLeod, tasks himself with the grim endeavor. Meanwhile, Anne returns, believing MacLeod will reveal himself when ready and resolved not to pressure him. The narrative shifts to a memory: 1938, the Coconut Lounge, where MacLeod first encountered Benny Carbassa, a young man caught in a rivalry with his brother for the affections of a celebrated singer.
