Synopsis

Cassie, a top student, arrives at Medenham Hall, an exclusive boarding school whose foundations were built upon the slave trade. As term begins, she endures the customary humiliations of her new classmates, though these are minor compared to her deeper anxieties. Haunted by disturbing visions and shadowed by a persistent stranger, she begins to suspect she is developing abilities that will irrevocably alter her destiny.
