Synopsis

A growing number of merchants were vanishing within Banyue Pass, prompting Xie Lian to assemble an investigation team. He was joined by Fu Yao and Nan Feng, though the latter two approached the task with a palpable weariness and a deep-seated distrust of San Lang. Their disagreements, however, were abruptly fractured by a sandstorm that swept in, carrying Xie Lian away from their sight.
