Synopsis

The children ushered Marmaduke out to greet their father, Mr. Winslow, as he returned from work. Once inside, a knock sounded at the door. It was the police, accompanied by a representative of the lost pet society, who insisted that Marmaduke was in fact Hobart, the missing dog belonging to Mrs. Van Upton. The two men abruptly seized Marmaduke, disrupting the entire Winslow household. The children hurried after him, determined to reclaim their beloved pet.
