Synopsis

Mr. Winslow had planned a trip for Marmaduke – a barbecue hosted for veterans, a lovely afternoon out. But Marmaduke, with ears that sometimes missed their mark, misheard his master’s words entirely. He believed Mr. Winslow was speaking of a visit to the veterinarian, and instantly vanished, seeking refuge from what he perceived as an impending ordeal.
