Synopsis

The series culminates in a final confrontation between McGarrett and Wo Fat. Three scientists have vanished, united only by their attendance at a symposium exploring the feasibility of a space-based laser defense system. McGarrett assumes the identity of a fourth attendee, Dr. Elton Raintree, and is swiftly taken captive. Behind the disappearances lies Wo Fat, who desires the scientists to complete their research and build the proposed weapon.
