Synopsis

Angie, Max's high school sweetheart from before he understood himself, returned to town, stirring unease. Penny, Max’s college girlfriend, felt a prick of jealousy. Simultaneously, Alex found himself unexpectedly drawn to Max. As Dave began dating Angie, Max reacted with anger, initiating what he termed a "code war." Elsewhere, Jane discovered Brad maintained a "work wife," prompting her to seek out a "work husband" of her own.
