Synopsis

Months had passed, and Chizuru's presence within the Shinsegumi had settled into a comfortable rhythm for the men. Itou Kashitarou served as an advisor to the corps, though his counsel was not universally welcomed by the soldiers. Plans were underway to relocate the Shinsengumi to more spacious headquarters. Elsewhere, Yamanami, chafing at his perceived lack of usefulness, pursued his research into "that medicine" with increasing recklessness.
