Synopsis

Rakka still keeps her wings concealed. Reki assists her in positioning Kuu’s bed within her room, and they discuss the perimeter of their town. They escort the children to purchase winter garments, where a human girl reaches out to touch Rakka's wings. Startled, Rakka flees into the Western Woods, guided by a flock of crows. The birds lead her to an ancient well, where she recalls a dream of being encased in a cocoon.
