Synopsis

As winter drew near, Kuu bestowed a coat upon Rakka and assisted her in selecting a room. Kuu expressed gratitude for the impact Rakka had made on her, while Rakka observed a faint flicker in Kuu’s halo. The other Haibane recounted Kuu's long-standing tendency to emulate her more experienced peers. With the descent of night, rain began to fall, and Kuu was nowhere to be seen.
