Synopsis

Hikari led Rakka to the temple of the Haibane Renmei, where the Communicator formally recognized her as a Haibane and presented her with the notebook that enabled her to make purchases. Afterward, she assisted Reki with the children at Old Home, and spent time in the company of Kuu, the youngest of the older Haibane. Together, they strolled through town, stopping by the bakery where Hikari worked.
