Synopsis

Team Dai-Gurren had secured the enemy fortress, yet a shadow of grief lingered, particularly for Simon, who mourned the loss of a comrade. After tumbling from a precipice, he witnessed a Gunman hurl a capsule into a deep valley. Investigating the object, Simon discovered he could unlock it with the same drill key he used to pilot Lagann. Inside resided a young human girl named Nia, but their meeting was abruptly interrupted by the appearance of an enemy Gunman.
