Synopsis

Seeking anonymity, a young man drifted from town to town until he found work as a cook at Delmonico's. The opulent kitchen was a world away from his previous life, yet the demanding clientele proved equally challenging. A particularly volatile customer, a buffalo hunter hardened by years on the plains, took exception to the young cook’s fare. His complaints escalated quickly, culminating in a violent confrontation and a tragic, unintended consequence.
