Synopsis

Lew Harrod rode into Dodge seeking Doc Adams, only to learn he was away. Newly arrived soon after, intending to assist, but found the boy’s mother unwilling to cooperate. Newly attempted to persuade the parents to take the child to Dodge, but the mother objected to the medicine he prescribed. The father, moreover, was a man wanted by the law. He was angered to discover Newly's profession. Harrod trusted Newly, yet his wife hesitated to go to Dodge, fearing Newly might summon men to take her h
