Synopsis

As Nellie and Susan prepared for their journey to St. Louis, Matt arrived with a prisoner needing medical attention – he had sustained an injury during a bank robbery. Susan, eager to depart, felt a growing anxiety that her plans with Nellie might be derailed by her feelings for the captive. Meanwhile, Mr. Boswell proposed to Nellie, but Susan firmly intervened, preventing the match.
