Synopsis

Matt stepped forward to defend Cope Borden, a man recently released from prison, when Rance Bradley accused him of horse theft and rallied a mob intent on lynching. Though ultimately cleared of the charge, Cope later killed Bradley’s nephew in a brawl that erupted during a card game. Matt found himself in a precarious position, compelled to shield the disreputable Cope from the righteous anger of Dodge's more honorable citizens.
