Synopsis

Beneath the city, in shadowed tunnels beneath Parliament, barrels of gunpowder were carefully placed. Catesby, Fawkes, and the conspirators worked with feverish intensity, their actions a desperate gamble. Above, Father Garnet faced mounting pressure. The fate of the Catholic faith, some argued, rested on his willingness to expose Catesby's plot. Would the priest, bound by his conscience, become the betrayer at the last possible moment?
