I’ve watched just a couple of episodes, and already there are things that aren’t working for me. Specifically, the character at the hospice is problematic, as is the nun—not so much her character itself, but the fact that she's being told all these details about an active serial murder investigation seemingly without reason. Another problem I have is with how our main character never seems affected by what she witnesses, while everyone around her reacts with extreme distress, frequently to the point of vomiting. It wouldn’t bother me if this wasn’t constantly emphasized; they insist on showing every single person upset and someone throwing up all the time. It's ridiculous—_you're messing up a crime scene. Either use a sick bag or leave._ Season 2 of *Them* (2021) handled something similar more effectively. I’m still unclear whether we are meant to understand that the villain is supernatural, given that "someone" has now appeared in the protagonist's home several times. I don’t need everything spelled out for me, but I do need things to have some logical basis.
