Synopsis

Determined to demonstrate her readiness for the role of Chief Resident, Meredith discovers that an hour in the Emergency Room can hold an astonishing amount of unpredictability. Simultaneously, Bailey escapes with Eli for a bit of clandestine fun, and the hospital staff are taken aback by an unexpected arrival: Adele, the Chief's wife, appearing as a patient in the very ER where the chaos unfolds.
