Synopsis

A patient requiring a particularly complex operation arrives at Seattle Grace, sparking a contest between Richard and Owen to be granted the chance to perform it. Ultimately, the decision rests with Derek, who selects Owen for the surgery, a choice that leaves Richard feeling resentful. Separately, Bailey navigates her own anxieties as she nervously prepares for a date with Ben.
